The sun is shining and Polyvios and I are strolling through Lagonissi. Our final destination is the nearest beach, although it was still tempting to look for the goats that must be somewhere near the house. You hear them very clearly in the living room but you can’t see them.
Lagonissi, where we stay, is one of the outer districts of Attika and therefore very rural. Polyvios claimed that it is a town actually, but how do you call a place where the bus stops are only frequented thrice a day? And did I mention the goats nearby?
After following the main road for two kilometers we arrived at Lagonissi Beach. It was very empty and we immediately regretted that we haven’t packed swimming clothing. I remembered every beach packed with people but the last time we were here was summer. And now it’s autumn and a working day!
